During Roth it was raw until 1984 which was raw with a mixture of polish. 5150 was all polish which I loved as it exemplified Eddie’s sound into better plateaus. Eddie to me always had, hard to put this in words, but a sound I refer to being an optimistic melody to it. He did a lot of fun and experimental stuff that kept you in. Even his “darker” stuff, if you want to call it that, was prevalent in Fair Warning album. Just a great guitar player I’m happy to have been a consumer of. I no longer have complaints.
